Surrender is the starting point of every breakthrough. Far too often, we try to do life on our own. But God calls us to something greater... to give Him full access to our hearts and lives. Romans 12:1 challenges us to be living sacrifices, that implies an ongoing, daily, intentional act of surrender. It's only when we surrender that we create space for God's presence and power to flow freely. It's in surrender that the fresh oil of the Holy Spirit begins to saturate our heart and renew our passion for Him.

What areas of your life have you been holding back from God? Where have you resisted His leadership? Today, intentionally lay those areas before Him. Let this act of surrender be a declaration that God is first in your life, not as an obligation, but as pure joy.

"Lord, I surrender every part of my life to You. Teach me to trust you fully, and fill me with Your Spirit as I yield my life to You."
Repentance isn't about guilt or shame... it's about freedom. Psalm 51:10 is David's cry for a clean heart and a right spirit. Here's what's so special about forgiveness: when God forgives He also restores, heals, and renews us! True repentance brings an inner freshness, because we've truly been made new. When we allow God to cleanse our hearts, He removes the residue that blocks our intimacy with Him.

Take a few moments today to examine your heart. Are there patterns, attitudes, or choices that need God's cleansing? Think about them, confess them, and ask the Lord to restore your heart. The act of repentance invites the flow of God's fresh oil back into your life.

"Create in me a clean heart, of God. Remove everything that's in the way of me walking fully in Your presence. Fill me with Your Spirit."

Hunger and thirst are natural signs of need, and God wants us to feel that same spiritual hunger for Him. Matthew 5:6 promises that those who hunger and thirst for righteousness will be filled. Spiritual hunger awakens our hearts, sharpens our focus, and drives us closer to God. Fresh oil flows into a life that is actively pursuing Him, seeking more of His presence, more of His power, and more of His love.

Reflect on your spiritual appetite today. Are you satisfied with routine, or are you longing for more of God's presence? Identify one practical way to cultivate spiritual hunger and commit to putting it into practice this week.

"Lord, stir up hunger in me for Your presence. Let me have a thirst that only you can satisfy, and let Your Spirit overflow in my life."
Dependence on the Holy Spirit is essential to every aspect of our lives. Psalm 18:28 reminds us that God lights our path and turns darkness into light. Life without His guidance is full of confusion, missteps, and exhaustion. But when we lean on Him, we experience clarity, strength, and power. The fresh oil of the Holy Spirit equips us to walk in purpose, to speak with boldness, and to respond with love in any situation.

Think of some areas where you might have been relying on your own strength rather than the Spirit. Surrender those areas and ask for His guidance. Trust that He will illuminate your next steps and give you the strength for them.

"Holy Spirit, I depend on you today. Guide me, fill me, and give me the wisdom and the power to walk in Your ways."

Spiritual disciplines are the channels through which God's presence flows into our lives. Colossians 2:6-7 calls us to be rooted and built up in Christ, established in the faith, and overflowing with gratitude. Prayer, Scripture, worship, and fasting aren't chores... they are opportunities to invite the fresh oil of the Holy Spirit into our daily rhythms. These practices align our hearts with God and sustain our spiritual well-being.

Pick one spiritual discipline to focus on for the next seven days. Be intentional and consistent. Don't look at it as an obligation, but out of a desire to connect with God.

"Lord, strengthen me to be rooted and built up in You. Help my daily practices to be overflowing with Your Spirit."
Your identity is not defined by mistakes, failures, or labels from the world... it's defined by God. 1 Peter 2:9 reminds us that we are chosen, holy, and called for His purposes. When we embrace our identity in Christ we become carriers of the glory of God, and living testimonies of His power. Fresh oil flows from a life that is rooted in who God says we are.

Write down statements of truth about your identity in Christ. Repeat them to yourself today. When doubts arise, learn to counter them with the reality of God's Word. Let your identity in Christ be the foundation for living a bold, Spirit-filled life.

"Father, remind me today of who I am in You. Fill me with Your Spirit so that I may boldly walk in my calling."

God desires our rest. Psalm 23:5 illustrates a life refreshed and anointed, with a cup overflowing. True rest isn't physical alone... it's spiritual, emotional, and relational. When we pause and allow Him to restore us, the fresh oil of the Holy Spirit renews our hearts, refills our strength, and prepares us for whatever we may face in the days ahead.

Take intentional time to rest today. Meditate on God's goodness, write down your reflections, and simply sit in His presence. Let Him pour His oil into your life and renew your soul.

"Lord, restore my soul and fill me with Your refreshing Spirit. May Your peace flow through me today."
Unity always brings blessing. Psalm 133 describes unity as a precious oil that is poured over the head. When the Church is united, God's anointing is free to flow, brining strength, favor, and joy. Division always hinders spiritual growth. When our hearts are aligned with each other and with God's purpose, the supernatural begins to occur.

Pray for unity among your church family today, as well as with other churches in the community. Reach out to someone you know who you've been disconnected with. Ask God to pour his oil over the family of God, together.

"Father, let Your Spirit bind us together in love and unity. Pour Your anointing on our church today."

Worship invited God's presence. When the glory of the Lord filled the temple, everyone experienced awe and transformation. Worship is the catalyst for fresh oil. It opens hearts, changes atmospheres, and releases the power of heaven.

Take time to worship this week. Don't focus on songs, but on God Himself. Invite the Spirit to saturate your heart and renew your love for Him.

"Lord, meet me in worship. Fill my heart, and our church, with Your glorious presence."
God calls each of us to serve. Luke 4:18 reminds us that the Spirit anoints us to bring freedom, healing, and hope to this world. Fresh oil flows when we step out in service, not for recognition, but for His glory!

Identify one way to serve your church or community this week. Ask God to empower your hands, words, and actions to impact lives.

"Holy Spirit, activate my gifts. Use me to bring freedom and hope to those around me."

Our leaders carry weight on our behalf. Numbers 27:18 is a powerful reminder that God anoints leaders for His purposes, and we should join together in praying for them. When we pray for them, we invite God's fresh oil to flow into their lives, giving wisdom, protection, and endurance.

Take a few minutes today to pray specifically for our ministry leaders and volunteers at church. Pray for their strength, clarity, and discernment.

"Lord, pour Your anointing on our leaders. Guide, protect, and empower them for Your work."
God wants to raise up a generation empowered by His Holy Spirit. Joel 2:28 reminds us that sons and daughters will prophesy, dream dreams, and see visions. Fresh oil flows through those who are young in faith, sparking for revival and renewal.

Pray for the children and students in your life and in our church. Ask God to protect, guide, and ignite them with boldness and love.

"Father, pour Your Spirit on our young people. Raise up a generation for Your glory."

Healthy families reflect God's love. Joshua's statement in Joshua 24:15 reminds us that we get to decide what our homes are built on. Fresh oil flows where marriages and families are aligned with God's purpose, producing blessing and testimony!

Pray for your family and others in the church. Ask God to heal, restore, and strengthen relationships.

"Lord, anoint our homes. Fill them with love, unity, and Your Spirit."
Spiritual gifts are meant to be fanned into flame. Paul encourages Timothy to stir up God's gifts. Fresh oil flows through a church when gifts are active and revival fire burns.

Pray for activation of gifts in your life and in our church. Ask God to ignite passion and boldness for ministry.

"Holy Spirit, awaken gifts in us. Pour Your revival fire into our hearts."

Jesus came to seek and to save the lost. Fresh oil flows through those willing to pray for the lost in their communities. Every prayer moves heaven and sets the stage for salvation.

Pray for specific people in Somerset and Pulaski County who you know that need Jesus. Ask God to bring you opportunities to share His love with them.

"Lord, let Your Spirit reach the lost in Somerset. Give me boldness to pray and act."
True worship includes acts of mercy. God calls us to serve the hurting and oppressed. Fresh oil flows through hands and hearts willing to reach out.

Pray for outreach ministries and ways to serve the community. Ask God to give wisdom, provision, and compassion.

"Father, anoint our hands to serve. Let Your love flow through our outreach."

God's river brings life everywhere it flows. When the Spirit moves, healing, revival, and growth happen. Fresh oil follows wherever God's presence is welcomed.

Pray for revival in our church and community. Ask God to let His river flow in every area of need.

"Lord, let Your river flow. Bring life, hope, and healing wherever it touches."
Students and teachers are able to be lights in their schools. Fresh oil flows through those who shine for Christ, especially in challenging places.

Pray for our schools here in Somerset. Ask God to protect, guide, and to give courage for believers to share His love.

"Father, let Your light shine in every classroom. Raise up bold witnesses for You."

God heals the brokenhearted and binds up wounds. Fresh oil flows as we lift the sick, hurting, and oppressed up to Him. He still heals and sets people free today!

Pray for physical, emotional, and spiritual ealing for people that you know. Ask God to move mightily.

"Lord, touch lives with Your healing hand. Restore and deliver according to Your will."
The early Church prayed for boldness. When we pray and act, fresh oil empowers us to proclaim the gospel in every circumstance.

Pray for courage to speak, invite, and live for Christ. Ask the Spirit to remove fear and fill you with boldness.

"Holy Spirit, fill me with boldness to share Your Word and live for Your glory."

God calls us to seek Him and prepare for revival. Fresh oil flows when we expect His movement and open our hearts to receive. We have revival services scheduled for the end of February. Pray that this is a time for God to pour out His Spirit in Somerset.

Pray for our upcoming revival, the speakers, the worship, and every person who attends. Ask God to release His power and to transform lives.

"Lord, we seek Your presence. Pour out Your Spirit in abundance. Let true revival remain here."
