21 Days of Prayer - Day 1
God's not hiding from you. Every step you take toward Him is met with an invitation to draw even closer.
Spend the first few moments of your day simply acknowledging the presence of God before you ask Him for anything else.
"Lord, draw me closer to You today than I've ever been before."
21 Days of Prayer - Day 2
It's easy for us to allow God's voice to be drowned out by the noise of our lives. Sometimes the most spiritual thing we can do is to simply be still.
Sit in silence for a few minutes this morning. No music. No phone. No distractions. Just stillness.
"Lord, quiet my heart so I can recognize Your voice."
21 Days of Prayer - Day 3
The greatest gifts we have aren't the things we hold in our hands... it's God Himself. We aren't seeking God to receive a blessing. We're seeking Him for His presence.
Before you make any request from God today, spent time worshipping Him for who He is.
"Father, teach me to desire Your presence more than anything else."
21 Days of Prayer - Day 4
David had many responsibilities on his plate, but he had one desire over everything else... to dwell in God's presence. When God becomes our one thing, everything else finds its proper place.
Identify one distraction that competes for your attention and intentionally set it aside today.
"Jesus, become the greatest desire of my heart."
21 Days of Prayer - Day 5
We don't produce fruit by trying harder. We produce fruit based on our connection to the Vine. Our greatest responsibility is to remain in Him.
Throughout the day, take as many possibilities as possible to pause for just a moment and remember your connection with the Father.
"Lord, help me remain connected to You in every part of my day."
21 Days of Prayer - Day 6
When everyone else left the tent, Joshua stayed. Some of the deepest things God does in us happen when we linger while others move on.
Sit and reflect on the Lord for 5 minutes after you finish praying this morning.
"Lord, give me a heart that doesn't rush out of Your presence."
21 Days of Prayer - Day 7
Jesus isn't nearly as concerned with what we do for Him as He is for our love for Him. The greatest relationship in our life should never become a routine.
Spend time reflecting on when you first fell in love with Jesus.
"Jesus, keep my heart fully devoted to You. Never let me become so busy serving You that I neglect simply loving You."
21 Days of Prayer - Day 8
True transformation doesn't happen when we try harder. It happens when we allow God to transform our thinking. That renewal takes place as God forms us in His presence.
This week, replace every lie from the enemy that tries to wander into your mind with a truth from the Word of God.
"Lord, renew my mind. Help me to think more like You and less like the world around me."
21 Days of Prayer - Day 9
Repentance is more than turning from sin... it's also turning back toward the heart of God! And through repentance, God does more than just forgive us... He also restores us!
Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal an area in your life where you've become comfortable rather than convicted.
"Create in me a clean heart, O God, and restore the joy of walking closely with You!"
21 Days of Prayer - Day 10
Humility isn't thinking less of yourself; it's thinking of yourself less. God lifts up those who willingly bow low before Him.
Serve someone today without seeking recognition or appreciation.
"Jesus, teach me to choose humility over recognition and obedience over applause."
21 Days of Prayer - Day 11
Holiness isn't about earning God's love... it's the natural response to experiencing it. As we draw near to God, we should begin to look more like Him!
What's one thing this week you can either lay down or pick up that will draw you closer to Christ?
"Lord, make me holy in my thoughts, my words, my actions, and my motives."
21 Days of Prayer - Day 12
Trust grows where control is surrendered. God often asks us to follow Him before He explains where He's leading.
Release worry into the hands of the Lord today.
"Father, I trust that Your plans are better than mine. Lead me, and I'll follow."
21 Days of Prayer - Day 13
Prayer is supposed to be a conversation, not a speech. We must learn to become quiet enough to hear the voice of God.
End your prayer time today in silence, asking the Lord what He wants to impress on your heart today.
"Speak, Lord. Your servant is listening."
21 Days of Prayer- Day 14
God transforms us as we walk with His Spirit. Every step we take, as we follow Him, forms us into the people He created us to be.
Before you do anything else today, ask the Lord how He wants to lead you today.
"Lord, help me to keep in step with You today. Lead every decision I make and word I say today."
21 Days of Prayer - Day 15
The Holy Spirit doesn't fill us so we can just have an experience with God. He fills us so that His power can flow through our lives. What God pours into us is meant to overflow from us.
Begin your day by asking the Holy Spirit to fill you, and then look for opportunities to follow His leading today.
"Holy Spirit, fill me. Let Your power flow through my life today."
21 Days of Prayer - Day 16
Jesus said that the evidence that we belong to Him is seen in the way that we love one another. A life that has been marked by His presence should carry His love into every relationship.
Intentionally show the love of Jesus to someone today.
"Jesus, help me to love people the way that You have loved me. Let others see You through the way I treat them."
21 Days of Prayer - Day 17
Heaven rejoices when a lost person comes home. If what matters to God truly matters to us, we will pursue those who are far from Him and celebrate them on their journey home!
Write down three names of people in your life who need Jesus. Pray for them today.
"Father, give me Your heart for the lost. Use me to help someone find their way back home to You."
21 Days of Prayer - Day 18
Jesus never complained about the condition of the harvest. He told us to pray for laborers. Our focus shouldn't be on how broken the lost may seem, but rather, on how desperate the need is to reach the harvest.
Pray for God to send laborers to our church, and into our community. Then ask God where He would want to send you this week.
"Lord, send workers into Your harvest. Make our church willing to go wherever You send us."
21 Days of Prayer - Day 19
The early church spoke the Word of God boldly when they were filled with the Spirit. Boldness isn't about a personality. It's about confidence in the Lord who filled you.
Take advantage of an opportunity to share Jesus today.
"Holy Spirit, give me boldness to speak about Jesus when You open the door."
21 Days of Prayer - Day 20
Revival is the breath of God on His people. We don't manufacture it. Our responsibility is to become hungry enough to ask God to do what only He can do.
Spend time praying for spiritual awakening in your life, your family, our church, and our community.
"Lord, revive us again. Start in me. Move through our church. Awaken our community to Your presence."
21 Days of Prayer - Day 21
Twenty one days of prayer and seeking the presence of God should lead us to a surrendered yes. We cannot stay put. Wherever He leads, we must go.
Give God your unconditional yes today. "Here am I. Send me."
"Lord, here I am. Everything I am and all that I have belongs to You. Send me to wherever You want, use my life however You choose."
